I just had to share about the smoothies we had for breakfast!
So yummy, easy to make and very good for you!
3 cups of plain kefir (homemade or store bought...I've used plain yogurt here as well)
12 oz bag of frozen blackberries
1/2 of a 16 oz bag of frozen strawberries
1-12 oz can of orange juice concentrate, thawed. (Do not add water, this will be your sweetener as well.)
Dump all of this in a food processor or blender, and zip until smooth.
(I made this in our food processor.)
If you have any leftovers, you can pour it into ice cube trays, tuck it into the freezer and make healthy frozen fruit pops. (You can get popsicle sticks in most craft departments.)
